A comforter (in American English), often known as a donor in Australian English, or a continental quilt (or simply quilt) or defeat in British English, is a sort of bedding fabricated from two lengths, cloth or protecting sewn together and stuffed with insulating materials for warmth, traditionally down or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and different down different fibers.
